The name
Altissimo
The Altissimo is named after Monte Altissimo di Nago, an impressive peak above Lake Garda. Between winding Dolomite roads, Mediterranean flair and a mild climate lies one of the most beautiful racing bike regions in Europe: the Italian Trentino.
At 2,078 meters, Monte Altissimo di Nago is the northernmost and highest peak of the Monte Baldo massif. In addition to its impressive landscape, the mountain is still marked by historical traces of the First World War. Trenches, ruins and alpine nature make it a place full of character.
Those who reach the summit are rewarded with a breathtaking view of Lake Garda – before descending back down into the valley in long, legendary hairpin bends.
The Altissimo stands for precisely this feeling: for sophistication, a view and genuine passion for racing bikes.
